About Anneka
Over the past 15+ years, I've come to believe something simple: understanding ourselves isn't always enough to create change.
Many of the people I work with have spent years reading, reflecting, and trying to make sense of their experience. They know their patterns. They know why they react the way they do. And yet they still feel caught in urgency, reactivity, or disconnection.
That's why my work is experiential.
Together, we'll slow down enough to notice what's happening beneath the surface—not just talk about it. I draw from AEDP, somatic therapy, Hakomi, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based approaches to help people reconnect with themselves and the people they love.
As both a therapist and a parent raising a family in Brooklyn, I know how easy it is to lose yourself in the pace of everyday life. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can slow down, reconnect, and experience lasting change.
